About the Position:

Hiring for a Purchasing Manager, which is responsible for coordination of purchasing vast amounts of construction materials: concrete to steel to electrical to plumbing. In addition, sourcing of new vendors, maintain existing relationships with current vendors, negotiate global policies for purchasing across the company, and create/manage the process. This person will be aware of the resources, materials and equipment needed for jobsites. Ability to analyze the data to create smarter purchasing program. Conversion from paper to digital/centralized, on-line paperless system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent training and experience.

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in purchasing, preferably with commercial construction or manufactured housing. Experience buying raw materials in the industry extremely helpful.

Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) would be a plus.

Ability to negotiate pricing and strong communication skills.
