About the Position:

Hiring for a Manager of Utility Interconnections to lead the company’s interconnection activities from a market and commercial perspective, with primary responsibilities including the evaluation of transmission and distribution interconnection specifications and agreements, tariffs, costs, timelines, designs, and processes for a variety of markets.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering - preference towards Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) qualification is preferred but not required.

Experience using and/or interpreting transmission power load flow modeling tools (e.g. PROMOD, PSS/E, ASPEN, PowerWorld) to interpret transmission system studies and use that information to advise on business development projects and activities.

Minimum 5 years’ experience of submitting and managing the interconnection of facilities, with direct experience in ERCOT, and preferable experience in other regions to include SPP, PJM, NYISO, and ISO-NE.

Demonstrated expertise and understanding of U.S. Power markets, with a focus on transmission, distribution, and behind the meter solar interconnections.

Knowledge of solar project development, utilities, interconnection, permitting, and contracting.
