About the Position:

Hiring for a Senior Vice President of Construction & Facility Maintenance, as a key member of the executive team, reporting to the President and assuming a strategic role in the overall management of the Construction and Facility Maintenance teams planning and directing every aspect of construction and facility maintenance functions. Including but not limited to; procurement, workforce management, budget, profitability, client relations, performance, regulations, business development, recruiting and hiring.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related engineering discipline.

15+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles, preferably in real estate development, property management, and construction industry.

Extensive knowledge of the construction processes, as well as a general understanding of the real estate development industry.

Strong experience in project management and budgeting.

Great understanding of business functions (Sales, Engineering, etc.).

Expertise in all aspects of construction activities including proposals, negotiating, bidding, estimating, contracting, scheduling, job-costing, construction management, and problem solving.

Expertise in prioritizing between competing issues, project needs, business needs, organizational issues, and client relations while making judgements using sound insight and knowledge.

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.

Proven track record for growth of a firm’s value and overall success.

Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
