About the Position:

Hiring for a a Business Development and Sales professional to assist in securing new RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) development opportunities. These opportunities would be generated through a combination of cold calling and responding to RFP’s, RFI’s, and RFQ’s amongst the public (local government) and Private sectors.


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the LFG-to-RNG industry.

4+ years minimum experience in Business to Government (B2G) type sales and focused within Renewable Energy, Utilities (Power, Natural Gas, etc).

Experience interacting with local Municipalities (city and county) and Coops.

Proficient understanding of RFI, RFQ, and RFP process.

Comfortable speaking with elected officials in an individual setting, but also in a public forum (commission meetings), understanding how to sell in both environments (i.e. negotiate / discuss specifics in private, sell the story, generate support, and discuss macro concepts in a public setting).

Landfill/Landfill Gas experience, specifically LFG-to-RNG or LFG-to-electricity, Hydrogen, or other Biogas to renewable energy project (wastewater, dairy, etc).

Experience with Public Private Partnerships (PPP).

Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements and experience with local government(s).
