About the Position:
Hiring for an Alternative Procurement Manager, in the Construction Division. This role will include business development and project delivery requirements for clients. In collaboration with the marketing team, this position will maintain and develop client relationships, connect company solutions to client needs, lead project teams in quality project delivery, and guide procurement stages leading to new opportunities. The Alternative Procurement Project Manager will be responsible for furthering the company’s client service, developing sustainable and innovative solutions, and provide effective collaboration with our technical service providers and client contacts. This is a highly strategic position requiring exceptional client service, project management and delivery, and providing positive results for clients.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
15+ years of heavy civil and/or heavy highway construction industry experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus.
CM/GC and Design-Build project experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of construction project management and estimating software such as P6, HCSS, Plangrid.
Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, personnel issues, and EEO.
Thorough knowledge of construction contracts/law.
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, technology, equipment methods, cost control, schedules, etc. and their impact on project activities.
