Utility Solar and Energy Storage Developer that delivers financing, EPC, operations, maintenance and asset management for investors and clean energy consumers. Company has developed 600+mw of solar capacity with plans to add 2+GW of Solar to the grid within the next three years.


The Senior Civil Engineer needs to be more than an engineer. He/She needs to be someone that understands solar design and construction. The position is not about creating design documents but more about evaluating development sites at a very early stage and be able to identify risks areas and articulate cost impacts and mitigation strategies. The Senior Civil Engineer will be engaged directly with our development team to assist in the development of site through permitting, then reviewing IFC documents and monitoring construction progress.

In this role, the individual will be tasked with working with Development team to insure constructibility of current and future projects. The ideal candidate will have exposure to Utility Scale Solar Development as well as Utility Scale Solar Construction from a civil standpoint. Ideal candidate will be able to evaluate the Development teams proposals and offer advice based on constructibility (i.e. land use, topography concerns or limitations, storm water concerns or limitations, etc.). This individual will need to be highly familiar with racking systems, installation concerns & limitations, and be able to provide proven rationale for constructibility.


  • Must have Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or similar degree from accredited University)
  • Must have 7+ years of Utility Solar experience
  • Must have Utility Solar design/development experience to be considered
  • Must be able to live and work in either Miami, Florida or Austin, TX.
  • Must have balance between technical knowledge and commercial/development needs
  • Must understand Utility Solar construction and have experience with projects within the Southeast USA, or similar terrain.
  • Must show proof that you have evaluated potential sites in very early stage development to assess risk/value of site and for constructibility concerns.
