About the Position:
Hiring for a Senior Building Engineer/Technician, responsible for operating and maintaining the Central Utility Plant Equipment (Chilled Water System Chiller & Systems e.g., air compressors, boilers & associated waste systems, chillers, water towers). Maintains, troubleshoot and repair facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems. Recommend purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes and responsible for providing guidance and training to other Building Technicians.
Current EPA Refrigeration license.
8+ years as HVAC Building Engineer/Technician.
8 years of increased responsibilities and diverse experience in CUP Environments.
8 years of direct experience in the operations and maintenance of facility systems.
Must have Central Utility Plant experience in a commercial building. York Chiller repair, Chemical reading and Metasys experience.
Stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth.
Knowledge of uniform building codes, fire codes, ADA, OSHA preferred.
