About the Position:
We are hiring for a Fleet and Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for the management and supervision of all Fleet and Maintenance employees, administration of all daily Fleet related operations: inventory, maintenance, repair, fuel and services contracts as well as the supervision of staff and vendors.
An Associate’s Degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred;
Three to five years supervisory/management experience in fleet garage including responsibility for preventative fleet maintenance program;
Previous business management and heavy equipment operation experience strongly preferred;
Previous experience in general accounting principles and practices preferred;
Previous experience working within a Fleet Management records database that is used for daily fleet operations management;
Understand, interpret, and appropriately apply a wide range of federal, state and local codes and regulations;
Must know and articulate the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations relating to proper maintenance and operation of commercial vehicles:
Must be able to read and apply blueprints, schematics, drawings, and other written instructions;
Must be able to operate, maintain and/or repair light, medium and heavy trucks and equipment, milling machines, lathes, grinders, stick, TIG, wire feed welders, and other machine tools utilized in the fabrication and repair of parts servicing vehicles;
Familiarity of electrical and hydraulic systems related to the maintenance and operation of equipment and vehicles used;
Valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card required.
