About the Position:

Hiring for a Chief Estimator, responsible to direct and supervise all individuals and activities related to estimating heavy civil and sitework projects. This includes conceptual estimates, design (associated with Design-Build projects), constructability reviews, value engineering, hard bid estimates, proposal efforts, and other deliverables from the bidding team.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field of study.
10+ years’ of estimating and project management experience for a multi-disciplined heavy civil or industrial EPC contractor.
This individual must have had at least one of the previous titles;

project director (projects over 50 million annually, and 150 million aggregate)
proposal manager (40+ million contracts)
senior estimator (100+ million annual in awarded work)

Software skills in HCSS Heavy bid or other estimating software, Grade Beam, Primavera P6, and On-Screen Takeoff, BIM/Autodesk programs.
Extensive knowledge of construction costs, historical production rates, and manhour factors.
