About the Position:

Hiring for a Production Manager to provide oversight of all construction projects. The Production Manager is a self-starter and problem-solver, a clear and proactive communicator, and experienced in construction and construction management. Responsible for: planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment and construction processes including safety policies, production schedules, quality and cost objectives. The Production Manager is a central and critical member of the team and will work from the Chicago area office and travel to project sites primarily in the Chicagoland area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise Project Managers for all commercial and residential construction projects.

Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.

Clearly communicate and manage project objectives of the project managers.

Enforce company safety practices and oversee orientation of a safe culture for all field employees.

Manage project timelines and budgets.

Manage and work with subcontractors.

Resolve and document project issues.

Conduct site meetings.

Coordinate materials, manpower and equipment for projects.

Manage production personnel, including hiring, firing, training and reviews.

Educate, motivate, train production department personnel so that schedules are met, workmanship is acceptable, and a safe working environment is maintained.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree is required.

5 or more years of production management experience.

Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated excellent systems and computer skills are necessary.

Ability to build effective teams and problem solve.

Time Management/Personal Organization.
